The Pink Room opened as a lifestyle boutique in Port Melbourne in the year 2000. Nestled amongst a clutter of vintage stores and glamorous boutiques the strip became know as the "Paris end " of Bay Street. Through the 2 level store, Lisa showcased her lifelong dedication to all things vintage and feminine - with a leaning towards the glamour erea of the 1930's.
The store quickly grew into a Pandora's box of French boudoir furniture, sparkling chandeliers and other irresistable trinkets. Ever changing windows treated the passing traffic to visions of pink satin chaises and corset shaped bedroom lamps - even the odd glimpse of her beloved dog Charlie reclining on a sofa. As well as selling untouched vintage pieces, Lisa also specaialised in painting and restoring flea market finds.
After seven years, Lisa closed the Port Melbourne store to concentrate on the development of her wholesale products. She is still sourcing unique vintage pieces and consults on home and commercial projects.
